BEETLEJUICE ABAYA

The Beetlejuice Abaya carries a sense of effortless individuality — playful, timeless, and designed to be lived in.

Crafted from striped cotton and contrasted with deep black luxury Italian linen, the piece balances softness and structure in a way that feels both relaxed and quietly striking. The striped fabric brings rhythm and movement to the silhouette, while the black linen grounds it with depth and simplicity.

There is something nostalgic about stripes — reminiscent of old deck chairs in summer gardens, vintage market fabrics, and garments collected slowly over time. 

The relaxed drop-shoulder silhouette, creating movement that feels easy and unforced. A colour pop of your choosing adds a personal layer to the garment — a small flash of individuality woven into an otherwise timeless piece.

The blend of cotton and linen gives the fabric a beautiful balance of breathability and texture, softening gently with wear and becoming more personal over time. Handcrafted to order in Waddesdon, England, each Beetlejuice Abaya is made slowly and intentionally using carefully selected materials chosen for their character, texture, and longevity. Natural irregularities in the weave and finish are embraced as part of the beauty of artisan craftsmanship.

Fabric: 60% cotton, 40% linen

Care: Hand wash at 40% using a mild detergent.  Line dry. Medium iron or steam. 

What we did: All the materials used have been hand selected carefully for their high quality and character.  This classic abaya has been updated.  It's the same gorgeous materials, but we have now added a button fastening and piping on the sleeves. 

Note: Made to order with a 3 week lead time. Any imperfections are natural characteristics of the materials and not considered as faults, but the beauty of the artisans' craftsmanship.
