The Pascale Kimono Abaya is one of AYWA’s iconic pieces — defined by its quiet presence, depth of textures, and effortless form.

Crafted from cotton with a gently imperfect structure, the fabric carries the mark of the weaver’s hand. There is a subtle irregularity to its surface — not polished, but honest — giving the garment a depth that feels both tactile and lived-in from the very first wear.

The silhouette is boxy yet relaxed, falling with an ease that feels instinctive rather than styled. Inspired by the simplicity of the kimono, it allows space around the body, creating movement that is calm, unforced, and quietly expressive.

Handcrafted to order in Waddesdon, England, each piece is made slowly and intentionally, honouring the skill of the maker and the integrity of the fabric.

Fabric: 75% Indian cotton, 25% cotton corduroy

Note: This kimono is an exclusive design, hand crafted and one-off piece.  The cotton is hand woven, untreated and in its natural and raw colour.

Any imperfections are natural characteristics of the materials and not considered as faults, but the beauty of the artisans' craftsmanship. 

The olive green colour may vary as each cloth is sourced individually.  

What we did: We have have specially hand selected all the components for this abaya and we are in love with how versatile this abaya is. 

Made to order: This product is handmade to order with a production lead time of up to 3 weeks.  We liaise with you directly when creating your personal and beautiful piece, so the production time starts from once you have finalised the details with our team.  

Care: Hand Wash at 30 degrees or dry-clean only. Medium iron or steam.
