HURLEY KIMONO

There is something of the sea in the Hurley Kimono.

Handcrafted from medium-weight Italian denim, its smoky, marbled surface moves between deep blue and softened blue tones, imagine the shifting waves of the ocean — the salt left behind as the water dries out in the sun. The irregularity of the print means no two pieces are quite alike, giving each kimono its own sense of place.

The silhouette is inspired by the Japanese kimono, with a relaxed wrapover shape and softly structured lines. There is an ease to it, balanced by the weight and character of the denim — a piece that feels considered and timeless. 

The inner collar is finished with a traditional Indian block print cotton, a glimpse of heritage tucked quietly inside, revealing itself with carefree movement.

The Hurley is made for layers, for changing weather, for days that begin slowly and wander somewhere unexpected. With time, the denim will soften and settle, carrying the traces of the life lived in it.

Each one is handcrafted to order in Waddesdon, England.

Lead time: This product is handmade to order with a production lead time of up to 4 weeks.  We liaise with you directly when creating your personal and beautiful piece, so the production time starts from once you have finalised the details with our team.

Care: Hand Wash at 30 degrees or dry-clean only. Medium iron or steam.
