RICHMOND ABAYA

The Richmond Abaya is inspired by British landscapes and old-world interiors — rich in texture, softened by time, and quietly full of character.

Crafted from olive green cotton corduroy and contrasted with deep black wool, the piece carries a beautiful sense of warmth and grounding. The corduroy catches the light gently across its textured ridges, while the wool adds softness and depth, creating a silhouette that feels both protective and elegant.

Inside the sleeve, Indian block print cuffs reveal themselves subtly with movement — a hidden detail that brings colour, craftsmanship, and quiet artistry to the garment. A vintage textile pocket adds another layer of story and individuality, as though the piece has gathered fragments of journeys and histories along the way.

The Richmond is understated yet deeply expressive. Its tones recall moss-covered stone walls, worn leather-bound books, winter gardens after rain, and the comforting stillness of country houses in colder months. What we did: We have have specially hand selected all the components for this abaya.  The beautiful vintage textile is a unique piece, therefore we only have one abaya available in this design.

Any imperfections are natural characteristics of the materials and not considered as faults, but the beauty of the artisans' craftsmanship.
