Mindfulness is a key ethos at AYWA (you’ve probably heard me talk about it through our social media channels or read about it on of our past journal posts). I am very passionate about approaching life through mindfulness, and with that in mind, AYWA will be starting a series called “Mindful Mondays”, where we will share with you something on the subject.
So here is the first official “Mindful Monday”.
Truthfulness
In our faith, in Islam, truthfulness is a fundamental and highly valued virtue that leads to righteousness, trust and success. Wherever you are, being truthful strengthens our character, and builds a foundation of trust with others.
Encompassing truthfulness in intention, words and in our actions applies to being sincere with God, oneself, and others in all dealings, from business to personal life.

What does truthfulness mean at AYWA?
Our clients and followers are like family, and being honest with you all is of upmost importance to AYWA. I believe in being transparent and sharing as much information as possible about our brand, our products and our practises.
Product Information
At AYWA we share an extensive product description, with product information that includes where materials are sourced from, where things are made, and how they are made. It's never a basic product description - I’m always striving to share more.
Communication
Keeping in touch with our clients to update them about the progress of their order helps us to build trust. Although we strive to process orders smoothly, there are times when there could be unexpected delays. Being a slow fashion brand, and with all our abayas being made to order we strive to deliver a personalised experience to every client. Communicating and being honest about what’s happening is our standard practise.
Education
AYWA is not just another fashion brand - it’s also an educational platform. I love what I do at AYWA, and I love to tell you all about it. I am proud of the products that we offer; sincere, wholesome and mindful. Although we are a small business, we have some much to offer and share with our community. We are so excited to bring our learnings and practises with you through different mediums and social channels.
Our TikTok channel is our primary outlet for education and information sharing.
